Here is the breakdown of what it would cost you to be HIPAA compliant outside of our software:
HIPAA Compliant Software (one different than ours) - $300-$600 per month
Twilio BAA (Can't send texts without this) - $3,000-$5,000 and then a month charge depending on how many texts you send
Right there, without even considering making your email HIPAA compliant you are looking at having to spend a pretty penny.
Instead of making you guys pay these wild rates we have made agreements with these companies and pay them monthly in order to provide a full end to end HIPAA compliant experience for our clients.
If you are not happy with paying an extra $100 / month you are more than welcome to go the traditional route. Plus if you reach out to us we can even point you in the right direction!
For those that like to save money and time we have made the HIPAA compliant charge for our software as cheap as possible.
There are two other things that you would need to pay for that are out of our control. Neither of these two things are going to break the bank but we are all about transparency here so we wanted to be straight up with you.
Number one is that you will be charged a certain amount per text you send. We see on average this amount is anywhere between $0.0079-$0.04.
This fee comes from something called Twilio. Twilio is what physically sends out the texts you design inside of the Past Patient Reactivation software.
Without it the texts would never send to your patients phone. However, it is pretty cheap to use.
Let's do the math: If you send a text to 300 people and it costs you the maximum charge of $0.04 per text you are looking at spending a total of $12.
On average we see 20% of the people we reach out to using the Past Patient Reactivation software become a patient.
So you are spending $12 to bring in 60 new patients. Seems worth it right?
The second thing is only if you are going to be sending emails too and you don't have your own email sender.
It is called Mailgun and you can think of it as the Twilio of email. It does the same stuff but for email.
Mailgun costs $35 / month and with that plan you get HIPAA compliance and to be able to send out 50,000 emails per month.
Neither of these two things are going to break the bank but we wanted to make you aware of them so you were not surprised.

This went on for a few years and I kept tweaking how to better help through technology, systems & automation.
I got pretty hooked on learning about this type of stuff.
I became an expert in an automation software called GoHighLevel and even got expertly trained in crypto (one of my side hobbies).
I finished high school with an associate’s degree and entered NC State as a junior in their Business & IT Department.
Recently, my dad and I sat down and discussed how many practice owners were still in the dark about the simple strategies, I had learned, that they could use to help fill their schedules.
That brings us to today…
